Silvester

Fabrizio Silvestrelli, alias Silvester, is an Italian knife-maker who developed a passion for blades from a very early age. His first creations date back to 1998. In 2004, he decided to undertake this profession full time.

"Each knife will be a set of lines that connect harmoniously, giving life to an unmistakable piece, almost always unique, capable of arousing emotions to the eye and to the touch; always trying to create new shapes and settings".

Silvester makes both folding and fixed blade knives of modern shape, with the materials currently most used in the sector: RWL34 and 440B/C steel, in addition to artisanal and industrial Damascus pieces. For the handles, he uses horns, fossil ivories, teeth, woods, and mother-of-pearl.

"I also love to revisit the repertoire of the Italian tradition in a modern key. A process that characterises my knives is the rounding of the liners, as well as the bolsters and scales".
