The Rasolino is a typical model of Sicily, more precisely of the Catania area, and owes its name to the shape of the blade which recalls that of a razor. It became widespread following the Giolitti law of 1908 which placed very severe limitations on the carrying of sharp knives and which favoured the production of various truncated point models.
Its main features are:
- Blade slightly curved backwards and with truncated tip in stainless steel
- Traditional simple spring closing system
- Concave grinding
- Handle machined from a solid piece of ox horn
